Brant Rock, Ocean Bluff, Green Harbor, Rexhame, Fieldston and the streets behind the seawall. This is where the standard companies get careful. When the standard market says no

Flood insurance

Homeowners insurance does not cover flood — not the ocean, and not the North, South or Green Harbor River coming in. If you have a mortgage on a house in a mapped flood zone, your lender will require a separate flood policy. Marshfield’s flood maps have been revised more than once in recent years, and some addresses moved in or out of the zone. We write flood and can tell you what your address requires.

Summer places

Plenty of houses near the beaches are summer homes. If yours sits empty all winter, or you rent it out for a few weeks, tell us. A homeowners policy written for a year-round owner may not fit. We find one that does.

Home insurance inland
